Gunmen have shot dead a woman working for the administration of Karaan district in Benadir region in the early hours of this morning.
The woman, whose name was shortened to Suldano, was said to be a member of the dispute resolution committee of the Karan district court.
Reports indicate that the men behind the killing and armed escaped from the area after the shooting.
Somali security forces also arrived at the scene, conducting a brief search.
This is the second killing in Mogadishu in a matter of hours, and last night a Daynile district official was shot dead by gunmen.
