MOGADISHU [SMN] – Matt Brydan, the head of Sahan Research has been found guilty by the Benadir Regional Court of leaking the Somali national secrets.
Banadir Regional Court today sentenced Matt Brydan to five years in prison, following the conclusion of the case against the Canadian analyst who is based in Kenya.
The court has announced five of his team were acquitted.
Sahan Research has also been banned from operating in Somalia by the court in 2018.
