MOGADISHU [SMN] – The First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People Abdiweli Mudey was denied to leave Aden Adde International Airport on his way to Barawe district.

According to reports, the South West Administration refused to allow Abduweli Mudey to go to Barawe as he was carrying a large contingent of troops as security guards.

Mudey was expected to run again for the HOP#145 seat which he occupied for the past term and has reportedly been eliminated from the race.

Southwest state leader Lafta-gareen is said to be behind the plan to deny Mudey access to Barawe.
