MOGADISHU, Somalia – The president of Somalia Hassan Sheikh held a consultative meeting with female parliamentarians from both chambers of the Federal Parliament.
The meeting at Villa Somalia addressed critical issues, including the completion of the constitution-making process, the fight against international terrorists, and ensuring women’s full and effective participation in national political agendas.
The President expressed appreciation for the significant contributions of women in Somalia’s state-building process and emphasized their pivotal role in shaping the country’s future and promoting sustainable development.
At the end of the meeting, the head of state encouraged the women legislators to unite their voices and collaborate effectively to achieve their shared aspirations.
