GAROWE [SMN] – Puntland state leader Said Abdullahi Deni has fired a top security chief on Wednesday.
In a presidential decree, Deni sacked PSF Director Mohamud Osman Abdullahi “Diana” and replaced him with Amin Haji Khair.
The replacement comes as Puntland faces security threats from Al-Shabaab and ISIS in the Bari region, where the two groups have bases in the mountain ranges.
