Saudi FM Participates in Meetings on Somalia Support, Turkish Intervention

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated on Wednesday in a meeting of the Ministerial Working Group on supporting Somalia in confronting aggression on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 

The meeting was chaired by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia Ali Mohamed Omar.

Prince Faisal also participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee concerned with following up on Turkish interventions in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

The meeting was chaired by Egyptian FM Sameh Shoukry and held on the sidelines of the 161st session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo.

The Arab Ministerial Committee and the Ministerial Working Group discussed the importance of strengthening Arab coordination on issues of common concern and respecting the sovereignty of member states following international laws and conventions.

It also tackled the latest regional and international developments and the efforts made in this regard.
