Somali PM in Jowhar to assess flood disaster

The Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble arrived in Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle region on Thursday.

Roble is assessing the impact of the Shabelle River floods on the city and how his government can respond.

The prime minister accompanied by ministers, parliamentarians as well as officials from humanitarian organizations held a meeting with HirShabelle leaders in Jowhar, discussing the best way to assist the flood victims.
