Somali PM Roble chairs a meeting on drought response

MOGADISHU [SMN] – Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has held a meeting with members of the international community in Mogadishu on Monday

Roble and the representatives of the international community discussed the humanitarian situation in the country, especially the current drought in many parts of Somalia.

The Prime Minister also called for immediate assistance to the Somali people affected by the drought who are estimated at at least 3.7 million.
