MOGADISHU, Somalia – Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, attended a ceremony marking the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye at the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu.
During the event, Speaker Abdi Hashi congratulated the Government and people of Türkiye, reaffirming the longstanding friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries.
He highlighted the strong partnership between Somalia and Türkiye, founded on mutual respect, cooperation, and solidarity.
The Speaker also commended Türkiye for its continued support for Somalia’s state-building efforts and infrastructure development, noting that bilateral cooperation has contributed to development projects aimed at improving the lives and livelihoods of the Somali people.
