NEW YORK, USA – Somalia has accepted and voted on a draft resolution from the Arab countries, which condemned the violations of the Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

A statement issued by the United Nations Mission in Somalia called for humanitarian aid to be brought to the Gaza Strip, where millions of Palestinians are starving to death after Israel cut off electricity and communications.

“We condemn the targeting of civilians and the forced displacement, and we confirm Somalia’s strong position to support the right of the Palestinian people to have an independent state with Al-Qudus as its capital. ” was said in a statement issued by the UN mission in Somalia.

It was yesterday when Somalia became part of more than 100 countries that voted for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Palestine.

Israel has doubled its attacks on Gaza City, targeting civilian areas.
