Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Mohamed Ahmed Nur (Tarsan) spoke for the first time about the resumption of strained relations between the two countries.
Tarsan said diplomatic relations have gone through various stages, but noted that Somalia and Kenya are inseparable neighboring countries.
He also pointed out that the embassy will resume its services to the Somali community on 4-07-2021.
“I would like to inform the Somali community that on Monday the embassy will resume its services. The number may be higher but we will resolve it,” said Ambassador Tarsan.
The statement comes as relations between Somalia and Kenya are improving after Qatar mediated between the two nations.
