BELGRADE, Serbia, — Somalia and Serbia reaffirmed their commitment to stronger bilateral relations during a meeting in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Dr. Edin Đerlek, deputy speaker of Serbia’s National Assembly, visited Somalia’s embassy and was welcomed by Ambassador Mohamed Abdullahi Ahmed.
The officials discussed expanding bilateral relations and strengthening parliamentary cooperation through closer engagement between friendship groups in both national legislatures.
They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to cooperation benefiting both countries and strengthening their longstanding friendship.
Ambassador Ahmed thanked Đerlek for his visit and expressed hope that Somalia and Serbia would continue expanding their enduring partnership and cooperation.
