Uganda postpones regional summit on Ethiopian crisis

Uganda on Friday announced that it had postponed an Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) meeting that was scheduled to discuss the Ethiopian crisis.

Lindah Nabusayi, presidential press secretary to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, told reporters in a message that the meeting that was scheduled here on Nov. 15 was postponed by a week.

“After consultations by HE (His Excellence) with his counterparts, the IGAD Summit has been postponed by a week,” Nabusayi said.
