ELBERDER, Somalia – At least one person was killed and another wounded after a plane crash in southwest Somalia on Thursday morning, authorities said.
It was a terrifying moment as a WFP plane veered off a runway and broke into pieces at El-Berde town in Somalia has been caught on camera.
Three crew members survived, according to an official in the town.
The aircraft touched down on the runway before swerving off the tarmac, skidding and turning 180 degrees before smashing into a fence.
The fuselage was seriously damaged while the cockpit was almost severed from the rest of the plane.
