BULO BURTE, Somalia – An explosion used in a vehicle filled with explosives took place in the central town of Bulo Burte, Hiran region on Thursday amid military operations.
It has been confirmed that 6 people were killed in the suicide bombing, 4 of them civilians, and 15 others were injured. They were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The reports add that the car exploded while firing at the security forces, which exploded at the meat market in the Bulaburte district.
An eyewitness said the car came from the West side of the district, and it is worth noting that the explosion caused extensive damage to many commercial areas and houses.
It was last Saturday when a suicide bombing killed 30 people and injured more than 50 people in Baledweyne, the capital of the Hiran region.
