Farmajo returns home after Turkey trip

MOGADISHU [SMN] – Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has returned home after a working visit to Istanbul for the third Turkey-Africa Cooperation Conference.

During his stay in Istanbul, Farmajo met Erdogan and discussed cooperation in the fields of security, economy, trade, and politics.

The President of the Republic of Rwanda. Paul Kagame and Mohamed Al-Menfi also addressed a special joint sitting of the Turkey-Africa forum.

Farmajo met with various sections of the Somali community in Turkey and listened to concerns and reports on their living conditions.
