Puntland has appointed members of the Federal and State Election Commissions ahead of the long-awaited parliamentary and presidential elections scheduled for next August.
President Deni of Puntland named 8 members who will represent his state in the State-level electoral body and sent the list to the office of the PM.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Tuesday that it had received 67 names from the Council of Presidential Candidates, which they said should be removed from both the SIET and FIET.
