Somali leaders continue talks on the election crisis

MOGADISHU [SMN] – Leaders of the National Consultative Assembly (NCF) on Saturday resumed their talks in Mogadishu focusing on elections and security.

They have been consulting on complaints about the lack of transparency in the election by the Union of Candidates, Civil Society, and the International Community in Somalia.

PM Roble has pledged to hold free and fair elections in the country and to ensure the 30 % quota for women in the next Somali parliament.
