MOGADISHU — Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Salah Ahmed Jama, met on Tuesday with the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Muwalled, in a meeting aimed at reinforcing bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the talks, both officials discussed enhancing cooperation in key areas including security, economic development, and infrastructure projects, according to a statement from the Somali government.
Salah Ahmed Jama expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued support and assistance to Somalia, emphasizing that the partnership between the two nations is strategic and essential for the country’s stability and development.
The meeting underscores ongoing efforts by Somalia to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties with regional and international partners.
