Mogadishu – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalan Abdi Ali, today received the new Djibouti Ambassador to Somalia, Osman Dubad Suugule, at his office.
The Minister received a copy of the Ambassador’s diplomatic credentials, which officially confirms his new diplomatic mission.
The two sides then held a meeting that focused on the traditional brotherly relations between Somalia and Djibouti, discussing strengthening bilateral cooperation, regional security and mutual interests in the Horn of Africa.
The meeting was described as further strengthening the historical relations between the two countries, with the expectation of increasing cooperation in the areas of security, politics and regional development.
