Agjar re-elected to lead Somali state for the next 5 years

JIGJIGA [SMN] – The Somali Regional State Parliament has re-elected Mustafe Muhumed Omar as the President for the next five years.

The MPs also picked Ibrahim Osman Farah as vice president, according to the Somali Regional Information Office.

Mustafe Cagjar has been leading the regional state for the past three years, following a major overhaul in Jigjiga and the ouster of former president Abdi Iley,

Ethiopia has faced a crisis in the past two years after the Federal forces raided TPLF rebels in the Tigray region, where thousands of people were killed and million in dire need of help.
