MOGADISHU, Somalia – The NISA forces thwarted a major attack plot after seized explosive materials in a suspicious bag in Abdiaziz District.
A suspect was arrested for the foiled bombing in the capital and he is under NISA questioning, according to the reports.
The successful seizure came following a tip off from the residents who phoned to NISA after witnessing suspicious man.m with bag on his hand.
Mogadishu enjoyed relative calm since the election of Hassan Sheikh in May 2022. The security has improved due to routine operations by military police.
