Baidoa, Somalia — The Commander of the Somali National Army’s Ground Forces, Brigadier General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, today visited Baidoa to inspect troops who have completed their training in the city.
The commander began his inspection at the military training camp, where he received a briefing from instructors and officers responsible for overseeing the training program.
He also reviewed the progress of the training, the different courses completed by the soldiers, and the military techniques and skills they had been taught.
The Somali National Army Command is continuing efforts to strengthen and professionalize its forces, with the aim of improving their capabilities and readiness to carry out their national duties.
